ABOUT US

LINDI JUMBO LTD is a Tanzanian registered exploration and mining company. Currently advancing the Lindi Jumbo Graphite Mine in the Lindi Region along the southern corridor of Tanzania. A Definitive Feasibility Study has been completed and negotiations are in progress to obtain a strategic development partner to fast track development of the project to kick-start production by early 2020.

We are proud to say that this would make LINDI JUMBO LTD the leading and FIRST graphite producing mine under the new Tanzanian Administration.

 

Mission Statement

The Company philosophy is to explore, develop and mine economically robust energy mineral deposits while being local and engaging locally. Our experience has taught us one simple key factor that has always kept our community relationships resilient, communication! The line of communication has always been the measurement of our relationship status.  In Tanzania, there is a common daily saying in KiSwahili, “Tupo pa moja”, meaning “we are one” or “we are together”, which resonates so well with the Lindi Jumbo project. This is the stance that the company has taken, to work with the local community and allow them the feeling of belonging every step of the way.

Humble Beginnings to Leading Graphite Developer

2014  ⇒

    • Identifying the famous Gilberts Arc

Tanzanian geology consultants commencing the first of several reconnaissance mapping and sampling programs.

2016  ⇒

    • Targeting High-grade

The Second diamond core and RC program concentrated on the high-grade western flank of the Gilbert Arc to increase confidence in the maiden Inferred Mineral Resource.

2018  ⇒

    • Mineral Resource Upgrade 

Third drilling and trenching campaign completed. Resulting in a global resource tonnage increase from 29.6 to 41.8 million tonnes (an increase of 41.3%). An accomplishment by only drilling and trenching a total of 5000 metres to this point.

2015  ⇒

    • The maiden resource drilling

RC and diamond drilling program conducted with a local Tanzanian drilling company, which formed the basis of data for the maiden graphite resource.

2017/2018  ⇒

    • Mining License approval

1st company to receive their Mining Licence under the new Mining & Local Content Regulations of 2018.

 

 

2019  ⇒

    • Compensation complete – Relocation Assistance Program.
    • Early works start-up – Site preparations commencing.
